WHY ALBANIA? Because Albania is rather a greatly economically deprived country that had been isolated from the world for half a century and in 1991 it became a democratic country. Economy of the country is rapidly growing and the prices of real estate and construction are the lowest ones as compared to the countries from the similar area (climate and level of development). The climate of this country is far more suitable for living, resting and executing construction works all through the year (temperature is by 10-15 degrees higher than that in Lithuania, there are 280 sunny days in a year). In addition to that, there are no capital gains tax, withholding tax, inheritance tax, value added tax on property purchases, state or wealth taxes and transfer taxes.
WHY NOW? Currently, real estate and construction prices in Lithuania are high, but the growth of prices has come to a standstill. The growth of prices in Albania is stable. This year Albania will join NATO (factor of investment safety) and in 2014 shall become the member of the European Union.
